COMMITTEES

The Advocacy Committee deepens the connection to our mission in advocating for artists across MT. This includes engaging with the music community to assess its needs and concerns. From there this committee discusses and analyzes how these needs and concerns are in alignment with MAMA’s mission and if it can aid in creating meaningful, sustainable change.

The  Board Development Committee is responsible for ensuring that the nomination process and composition of the MAMA board complies with the bylaws of the Montana Area Music Association. The Committee will evaluate current and prospective directors against the criteria defined in the MAMA Board Member Position Description.

The Education Committee works to educate the community through learning programs initiated and maintained by MAMA. This committee is the foundation to MAMAcademy, one of MAMA's largest educational programs.

Working to provide MAMA with fiscally responsible connections to financially sustain us through donations, fundraisers, and grants.

The Audit Budget/Finance Committee creates the budget for MAMA based on upcoming events and needs. They are the checks and balances for keeping finances in order.

The Events Committee manages internal team events.
